Ordinary People is a lifestyle store that produces small batches of quirky artisanal products.

Their collections with interesting, quirky yet modern illustrated graphics & designs reflect their belief
in small batch production and ethical manufacturing.

Main Logo

The man in the logo represents the ordinary man. He is a curator and a reflection of the products Ordinary People carry—quality, artistic,
and good taste.

The Brand Identity

Strategically, the logo was designed as a “living” logo to include the man and what he could be doing.
As he evolves, you see him falling in love during Valentine’s day, or accompanied by his favorite pet
in December during winter, etc.

In other words, this is a brand
positioned to grow together with you.

Namecard design. The base of the name card is embossed with Ordinary People’s name while the characters are being stamped on to allow for more flexibility in production. In this version, the characters were designed to reflect the man making announcements on his loud hailer as these name cards were for tradeshow use.

Label design. The label design takes on the standard logo design because this is mass-produced to be applied onto Ordinary People’s products.

Dogs A to Z. Every dog breeds from A to Z illustrated on postcards. This collection was also selected to showcase in Tiger Beer Trading Co., a pop-up activation in New York promoting Asian goods.

See Feel Wander. (Clockwise) Bedroom Slippers, Pillow Drawstring Bag, Half Moon Pouch, Drawstring Pouch. A collection inspired by nature—the ebb & flow of waves that kisses your feet on the shore,
the setting of a sun, the silence of the moon…You would probably love to be reminded of these.

Yoga Caveman. Flipping the narrative by showing a caveman doing yoga instead. This print turned out to be popular amongst the customers and often generate alot of giggles.
